Mayor Rob Ford looked embarrassed as he stood in front of his office today, moments after the Toronto Star posted a bizarre video of him online.
‘‘The whole world is going to see it. I don’t have a problem with that. But it’s extremely embarrassing,’’ says Ford.
The video, which was purchased for $5,000, shows Ford in an intoxicated state pacing back and forth in a dining room as he rants to someone off camera about murdering an unidentified man.
‘‘When he’s down I will rip his f—ing throat out, I will poke his f—ing eyes out,’’ Ford says in the video.
‘‘I need f—ing ten minutes to make sure he’s’s dead,’’ says Ford.
The full context of the video is yet unclear.
