Skedline reporters Sara Miller and Sohini Mondal attend the open house for Lakeshore grounds Interpretive Centre at Humber College.
Area residents joined the meeting to discuss possible future development plans.
The centre will be located in the new welcome building at the corner of Lakeshore Blvd. W. and Kipling Ave.
The space will display interactive activities, historical material and art galleries.
The building is se to open in January 2016.

Sara Miller is a graduate of the Journalism Advanced Diploma program at Humber College. She is now currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Journalism program at the Lakeshore campus.
