The Boston Marathon bombing trial  is set to enter its home stretch today.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 21, who is accused of killing three people and injuring 264 at the marathon’s crowded finish line on April 15, 2013. He also fatally shot three police officers three days later. Tsarnaev’s attorney has admitted that he committed the crimes he is accused of but the plot was carried by his older brother.

The older Tsarnaev’s died hours after the two were accused of shooting the policer followinga gunfight that ended when Dzhokhar Tsarnaev sped off in a car, running and killing Tamerlan.

This week’s testimony is expected to focus on the chaotic hours that followed the gunfight that left hundreds of thousands of residents of the greater Boston area in house arrest whole police hunted for Tsarnaev who was found the evening of April 19, 2013 hiding in a boat in a backyard in the suburb of Watertown.
