Canadian pair skaters, Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje won  the bronze medal  during the ISU World Figure Skating Championship in Shanghai today..

United States duo, Madison Chock and Evan Bates carried a 1.79-point lead over Canadians Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje into the free dance but they were both upstaged by a French couple, Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron proving anything is possible under the accumulative scoring system.

Papadakis and Cizeron won gold with 184.28 points.

Chock and Bates trailed into second-place with a total of 184.28 points meanwhile Weaver and Poje’s whom had an unbeaten run this season ended placing third place with 179.42 points.

“Unfortunately the marks didn’t add up in our favor. But we are not going to mark of the season as a loss. We had an incredible year,” said Weaver.
