Kings top Habs in shootout

The Montreal Canadiens lost 4-3 last night to the L.A. Kings after taking it to a shootout.
Max Pacioretty scored his 31st of the season to give Montreal a 3-2 lead with 7:12 left in the game, but Marian Gaborik, who had two goals in regulation, tied the game for L.A. to send it to extra time.
When overtime did not solve anything, all three shooters for the Kings (Anze Kopitar, Jeff Carter and Marian Gaborik) scored in the shootout to give L.A. the win.
Montreal’s record fell to 41-18-6.
