People remember the fallen and injured Jan. 17 after a gunman opened fire at a night club in Mexico Jan. 16

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Jan. 17 (REUTERS) – Citizens of Playa del Carmen, Mexico marched through the streets on Jan. 17 near the Blue Parrot nightclub where a gunman had opened fire during an electronic music festival the night before. The banner pictured above reads “We are all Playa (del Carmen).” Five people were killed and 15 more were injured.

Among the dead is a Canadian and long-time nightclub security guard from Toronto named Kirk Wilson, The Globe and Mail reports.
