Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics end in style

It’s that time of year again when we must say goodbye to the Winter Olympics and the athletes who participated.
The games were held for two weeks in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Canada won 29 medals; 11 gold, eight silver and 10 bronze. This makes Canada’s most successful winter games in history.

The theme for the closing ceremony was “Next Wave,” which celebrated all the athletes’ achievements during the games. Popular K-pop groups EXO and CL performed at the ceremony, making passionate fans into a frenzy of excitement.

The next Winter Olympics will be held in Beijing, China, in the year 2022.
