But the highlight of the night goes to Rachel Shenton who gave a beautiful speech after accepting her Oscar for live action short film.
The British actress delivered her speech in sign language after promising her six-year-old deaf co-star she would.
She was inspired to write the screenplay following her late father’s battle with deafness.
Shenton signed speech warmed the hearts of viewers across the world and led to much praise for her inclusive message on social media.
