Summer 2018 is coming around the corner (finally), and with that means there are going to be many new movies coming out in theatres.

Here are a few movies that I cannot wait to see!

  1. The Avengers: Infinity War (April 27)

Everyone is at the edge of their seats waiting for this Marvel movie to hit the screens at the end of April. According to an article published by GameRader, The Avengers: Infinity War is said to be “by far the greatest Marvel movie yet.” A 30-minute snippet was released during a fan event and every tweet that came out of the event was positive.

I think it’s safe to say that we won’t be disappointed with this Marvel Studios crossover.

2. Deadpool 2: (June 1)

Though the trailer for the hilarious Deadpool movie came out in February, I think this film is must-see. If the trailers are anything like the movie itself, then fans shouldn’t be disappointed that the film should be full of action and gut-busting comedic moments. Within the trailer, viewers are introduced to someone who has only ever been seen in the comic books, Josh Brodin’s character Cable.

3. Jurrasic World: Fallen Kingdom (June 22)

According to Forbes, Jurrasic World Fallen Kingdom is also supposed to be one of summer 2018’s biggest hits.  Years after the dinosaurs began running loose in the theme park known as Jurassic Park, the time has come for Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) and Owen (Chris Pratt) to return to the island and save the dinosaurs from a volcano. I’m on the edge of my seat just thinking about this film!

4. Oceans 8 (June 8)

For those of you who watched the infamous Oceans 11, then I suggest you also carve out some time in your schedule to watch Oceans 8 – the female version. This version has actresses such as Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bohnam Carter as well as many other wonderful women. The movie is quite similar to Ocean’s 11 – the main character Debbie Ocean (George Clooney’s character Danny Ocean’s sister) who is being played by Bullock gathers together her trusty (as well as glamorous) team in hopes to pull off one of the biggest robberies of their careers. With how the trailer flowed it makes myself and others excited to see the film.

5. Incredibles 2 (June 14)

The moment is finally here! After waiting for over a decade, Pixar is finally releasing the second Incredibles movie after we were left hanging on probably the longest cliffhanger known to man after the “Underminer” showed himself at the tail end of the first Incredibles. The trailer showcases Mr. Incredible being a “stay at home dad,” and we finally get a taste of baby Jack Jack’s superpowers – so excited! I know that this film is for children, but I know for a fact that people 20+ will be there because we all have been waiting for this moment for literally our whole lives.

Excited to see these movies? Me too! I guess I’ll be seeing all of you at the theatre this summer.
