Chris Brown, 29, and one of his bodyguards were arrested for rape and drug allegations in Paris on Monday. The Grammy Award-winning singer is being detained by the French police after a woman claimed that she was raped by Brown in a hotel.
According to CBC Brown remains in custody today.
It is being reported that the investigators have two days to decide whether to let him go or file preliminary charges.
The woman who filed the allegations said she met Brown and his friends at club Le Crystal in Paris and all went to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Wednesday of last week.
The incident was originally reported by French gossip magazine Closer.
