SALT LAKE CITY – Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is being sued for $3.1 million for an incident at a ski resort in Utah in 2016.
Terry Sanderson, 72, claims that Paltrow caused his broken ribs and concussion while skiing at Deer Valley Resort.
Sanderson said a press conference in Salt Lake City, that he recalls hearing a “hysterical scream” as Paltrow crashed into him, causing him to fall forward and lose consciousness.
Paltrow denied the allegations through spokesperson Heather Wilson, saying that the lawsuit is “without merit” and she “expects to be vindicated”.
Sanderson has denied allegations that he is only suing Paltrow because she is a rich celebrity. Saying that it took him almost three years to file because he procrastinated, had problems with attorneys and was dealing with the fallout from his concussion.
