Humber’s men’s and women’s volleyball teams continue to dominate as they extend their winning records following games against the Conestoga Condors on the weekend.

The men’s team started the first set of the game rough, but came alive in the second to take it 25-23. The Hawks and Condors went back and forth in a battle in the first four sets, but it was the Hawks who prevailed in the fifth set defeating the Condors 3-2. Rafael Hilario and John Obi were lead scorers for the game with 21 kills and nine kills with one block respectfully.

The women’s team also had trouble off the start but quickly dominated the rest of the game. Hawks won three straight sets (25-15, 25-16, 25-19) to defeat the Condors 3-0. Danielle Miles and Julia Watson led as scorers in the game with eight kills each.

Both teams extend their season wins with a record of 12-1 for the men and 10-3 for the women.

The Hawks will host Boreal on Jan. 26 and Cambrian on Jan. 27.
