Breaking Bad is returning, this time to the big screen in a feature-length movie.
The movie began filming late last year and will be a sequel to the hit show, which ran from 2008 to 2013 and won several awards. Three-time Emmy Award winner Aaron Paul will resume his role as drug dealer Jesse Pinkman. Although he was the show’s supporting actor, critics have described his role as one of the best performances on television.
Lead actor Bryan Cranston said he does not know if his infamous character Walter White will make an appearance in the film, which is written by the show’s creator Vince Gilligan.
Netflix will have first-run rights to the movie. The title and release date are still unknown.
