According to Reuters, the death toll for the collapses building in Istanbul has risen to 10 people since this morning.
Turkish emergencies have already rescued 13 people from the rubble, including a 5-year-old girl and an 8-year old boy
There is no clear cause for the collapse but according to Turkish investigators, the top three floors of the building were built illegally.
Seven buildings around the collapse site, in the city’s Kartal district, have been evacuated for security reasons.
The building had 43 residents living in the 13 apartments. It is unclear how many people remain unaccounted for.
