The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Ottawa Senators 5-4 last night at Scotiabank Arena.
The Senators had a 2-1 lead halfway through the second, but with six minutes remaining in the period, goals from Andreas Johnsson, Auston Matthews, and John Tavares gave the Leafs the lead heading into the third.
Ottawa was able to tie it at four with goals from Thomas Chabot and Magnus Paajarvi, but Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly sealed the game-winner late in the third period.
The Leafs will now focus on Montreal, who they play Saturday night for Hockey Day in Canada.
