A Florida man who broke into Taylor Swift’s New York townhouse has been sentenced to six months in jail.

The police found 22-year-old Roger Alvarado sleeping inside the pop stars Tribeca home. According to a report from the New York Post, Alvarado broke in, took a shower and then fell asleep.

Swift was not home during the break-in.

Police had previously arrested Alvarado at the property last February when he was trying to break the front door with a shovel.

Alvarado was sentenced after pleading guilty to attempted burglary and criminal contempt on Tuesday.

According to the Post he will return to Florida to serve five years’ probation and also must complete a mental-health program.
