Boston Red Sox pitcher, Steven Wright received an 80-game suspension after the Red Sox announced his positive testing for use of performance-enhancing substances.
The suspension follows back to back after being arrested in December of 2017 for domestic abuse and serving a 15-game ban.
Wright said in a statement that he was shocked for testing positive after not intentionally taking any performance enhancing drugs but will cooperate with the MLB.
