Mississauga plans to leave Peel

Mississauga is in the process of leaving from Peel Region.
Mayor Bonnie Crombie is moving towards Provincial approval to separate from Peel Region to save money for the city.
Today, Council passed in principle my motion requesting the province pass legislation that #Mississauga become independent from the Region of Peel. Crombie tweeted that Mississauga could expect up to 85 million dollars in savings by becoming independent.
