Skedline.com reporter Rosana Vinoles spoke with students this week about their food options in and around the Lakeshore campus.
Here’s what they had to say.
Some students are comfortable with the food selection on-campus but are concerned that food prices have increased making it more challenging to buy on campus.
Buying food off-campus to stay on budget
In order not to break their budget, some students rather walk 10 to 15 minutes off-campus to get their lunch, saying there are more affordable food options from food chains in the area.
Students who live near campus say they would rather go back home to prepare quick and inexpensive meals.
