The 2019 Baseball Hall of Fame inductees will be announced tonight.

Mariano Rivera, Edgar Martinez and Mike Mussina are expected to be inducted. With strong support, Rivera may become the first unanimous inductee.

Roy Halladay, a former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher who passed away in a plane crash on November 7, 2017 is expected to be inducted as well.  He was first drafted by the Blue Jays in 1993. Later in his career, he played for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Halladay’s accomplishments include a perfect game, pitched on May 29, 2010. In his first postseason start on Oct. 6, 2010, Halladay threw the second no-hitter in MLB playoff history.
