Frank Mir makes comback against Antonio Silva

Former heavyweight champion Frank Mir fought Antonio Silva on Sunday in a stunning upset of a UFC fight.

Just over a minute into the fight in the first round, Mir knocked Silva down for a TKO with a flurry of jabs and elbows. The victory snaps Mir’s losing streak of four fights and is his first victory since December 2011.

This bring’s Mir’s record in MMA to 17-9, and 15-9 in the UFC. Silva’s record now stands at 18-7 in MMA, and 2-4 in the UFC.
