Kristen Wiig, an actress best known her for comedy skits and hilarious role in Bridesmaids discusses a serious take on her new role in, “Welcome to Me”, following its premiere at Toronto’s International Film Festival (TIFF) Sept. 5.

Wigg plays Alice Klieg, a woman diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, who wins the lottery. Alice puts most of the money into hosting her own kooky talk show. From neutering her pets to references to Oprah, Alice does it all on her show.

A pivotal moment in the movie is Wiig’s naked strut through a casino. Wiig joked about the scene during a discussion following the film’s premiere.

The jokes did not stop there. When asked about his beard producer Will Ferrell quipped:

Audiences can expect a good laugh and a good cry after watching “Welcome to Me”. The film is not expected to hit theatres but made its mark at TIFF.
