Hedley frontman Jacob Hoggard will be hosting this year’s Juno Awards in Hamilton.
He is taking over for Johnny Reid, Serena Ryder, and rapper Classified who all co-hosted the award show last year in Winnipeg.
Hoggard and his band are nominated for three Junos this year, including the fan choice award, single of the year for their hit song “Crazy for You,” and album of the year titled “Wild Life.” Hedley has won two previous Juno awards in 2011 and 2012.
Hoggard was discovered on Canadian Idol in 2003.
The Juno Awards will kick-off Sunday, March 15 at the FirstOntario Centre.
