It turns out Sir Isaac Newton isn’t the only person to have eureka moments after taking a hit to the noggin.
Baltimore Ravens Offensive Lineman, John Urschel is a math aficionado, recently publishing the verbosely titled arithmetic paper, “A Cascadic Multigrid Algorithm for Computing the Fiedler Vector of Graph Laplacians”
According to a Deadspin story, Urschel has a Bachelor and Masters degree in math from Penn State, where he also played football.
So much for the stereotypes about football players, huh?
