Tory talks SmartTrack with Mulcair

Toronto Mayor John Tory is scheduled to meet with NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair today in hopes of putting forward his $8-billion SmartTrack proposal to federal politicians.
Last month, Tory travelled to Ottawa to meet with Mulcair, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau and the federal transportation minister isa Raitt to discuss infrastructure-related issues, says CP24.
The meetings came several months after Tory met with Prime Minister Stephen Harper and former Toronto mayor Rob Ford.
Mulcair is in town for a NDP rally party at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Sunday.
