Toronto Police have arrested a 16-year old boy in connection with a sex assault in the city’s west-end Tuesday,  Jan. 26.

The minor faces three charges of forcible confinement, sexual assault and assault against an 18-year-old woman. Police say the incident took place shortly after 9 a.m. on Tuesday when a male approached a woman in the Eglinton Avenue West and Lloyd Manor Road area.

The woman told police a male spoke to her before taking her to a secluded area at Winsland Drive and Winterton Drive, where she was assaulted.

The 16-year old, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, had his first court appearance Thursday,  Jan. 28.
