It wouldn’t be an award show without new award show memes. After last night’s Oscars, Twitter blew up with pictures and gifs of celebrities doing celebrity things.

Jennifer Lawrence was holding a glass of wine and hopping over a theatre seat in four-inch heels enjoying her best life had Twitter laughing.

Meryl Streep came in her fabulous red gown and sleek high bun but didn’t realize that she looked like the Fairy God Mother from Shrek.

The gif of Emma Stone with a straight face and her good pal Jennifer Lawrence laughing right at it and pointing at her is the kind of friendship we all need.

And perhaps the most caught off guard moment, Jennifer Garner’s realization mid-way during a standing ovation had the Twitter memes going off. Everyone is wondering what realization she came to.

But the highlight of the night goes to Rachel Shenton who gave a beautiful speech after accepting her Oscar for live action short film.

The British actress delivered her speech in sign language after promising her six-year-old deaf co-star she would.

She was inspired to write the screenplay following her late father’s battle with deafness.

Shenton signed speech warmed the hearts of viewers across the world and led to much praise for her inclusive message on social media.
