Brandon Truaxe, the Canadian founder of a skincare company Deciem, has died at the age of 40 according to the company. The skincare line was launched in Toronto in 2013 which has been expanded worldwide and is reported to have made $300 million in sales.
Truaxe was found dead outside his condominium building in the Distillery District, ofToronto. The cause of his death has not been confirmed however Toronto Police found no evidence of criminal activity.
Truaxe was fired last October after posting bizarre and troubling messages on the company’s Instagram which resulted in Estee Lauder taking legal action against him.
Deciem posted an Instagram post in memory of Truaxe.
