CTV NEWS (TORONTO):

Toronto police are searching for the culprits who stole two Stanley Cup commemorative rings belonging to a former Pittsburg Penguins defenceman and his wife.

Police say the two 2017 Penguins Stanley Cup Rings were taken during a break-and-enter at an Etobicoke home near The East Mall and Burnahmthorpe Road.

Cameron Gaunce and his wife, Andrea, confirmed the rings belonged to them. Gaunce said they were kept in a family safe the size of a mini fridge at his mother-in-law’s home.

In an interview with CTV News, Andrea Gaunce said there was glass shattered everywhere, and drag marks all over their hardwood flooring. She said the rings are “priceless” and hopes to get them back in the same condition.

If you or anyone you know has information on the matter, contact police at 416-909-2202 or react out to Crime Stoppers anonymously.
