Demi Lovato deletes Twitter account after 21 Savage backlash

Singer Demi Lovato deleted her twitter account after being criticized for laughing at memes about rapper 21 Savage.

ICE arrested the rapper for living illegally in the United States. Officials said 21 Savage is a British citizen who overstayed his U.S. visa.

Lovato tweeted, “So far 21 Savage memes have been my favorite part of the Super Bowl.”

Rapper Wale said this joke was not funny.

Critics said Lovato was laughing at 21 Savage’s arrest. She said this was not the case.
