The Hawks are beginning their quest to add to their record 14 provincial titles Thursday night. Humber will open their tournament when they take on the host Georgian Grizzlies at 8 p.m.

Humber is looking to rebound from a slight stumble towards the end of the season. The hawks came out of the gates flying winning their first 17 games before losing two of their final three games. Finishing the season 18-2, the Hawks would top the western conference. The Grizzlies on the other hand had a very mediocre season going 9-11, good enough for sixth in the Eastern Division.

Forward Jaylan Morgan is having an outstanding year for the Hawks, averaging 16 points per game. Morgan has also been one of the most efficient players in the province too ranking in the top 5 in both field goal percentage (53.4) and three-point field goal percentage (47.1).

All time, the Hawks have enjoyed a lot of success in quarter-final matchup, going 27-2 all time, including winning their past 13 quarter-final contests.
