Disney releases new trailer for live action Aladdin

This morning Disney dropped the new trailer for Aladdin. The new peek at the latest live-action adaptation focuses on the friendship between Aladdin and the Genie.

Additionally this short glimpse features the songs Friend Like Me and A Whole New World which were part of the of the 1992 animated movie.

Mena Massoud, who plays Aladdin in the upcoming live-action, shared the new trailer on his twitter account.

“Still pinch myself sometimes at the idea of playing this iconic character. His journey in this film is only something I could have dreamed of playing with. This trailer is only a sliver of the adventures you’ll see this May. Get ready for a whole new world. # Aladdin,” says Massoud on his tweet.

Aladdin arrives in theaters May 24 starring Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, Massoud as Aladdin and Will Smith as the Genie.
