The new venture opened late this January and is operated by the same management as Woody’s. Surprisingly this would be the first restaurant in the neighbourhood that specializes in chicken. Woodfire Sandwich Co. offers a unique new taste to the Long-Branch strip in an elegant location for chicken lovers and foodies alike.
For a chicken joint, the restaurant has a plentiful menu that caters to many different tastes. Food is priced at $10 to $12 dollars for main courses. Portions are generous with their specialities including chicken sandwiches that are all wood-fired like their original burger joint. Readers with a sweet tooth can also try their chocolate croissants among other desert options available.
While Woodfire Sandwich Co. specialises in chicken dishes, they also offer large breakfasts with coffee sourced locally from Fairgrounds café with healthier snack options like banana bread.
