Stevie Rae Elgersman just cast his first vote in a Canadian federal election, and… well… it certainly didn’t go as Stevie had hoped, but it didn’t become the absolute worst-case scenario.
With the new Liberal minority, Stevie is concerned that none of the issues that are important to him will be addressed: the Trans Mountain Pipeline is going ahead as planned, public funding has been cut, and Stevie feels his voice matters less than ever.
Still, he’s happy he voted and looks forward to participating in the next federal election (given it’s a minority government, that could be sooner rather than later).
