Fashion Police co-host Kelly Osbourne has threatened to leave show amid the Zendaya Coleman controversy.
The British 30-year old was upset over comments made by fellow co-host Giuliana Rancic who described Zendaya’s dreadlocked Oscar hair as “smelling like patchouli oil and weed.”
The remark didn’t sit well with viewers as they voiced their opinions on social media, calling Rancic comments “racist” and “stereotypical.”
Coleman responded to the comments in a Twitter post saying: “There is a fine line between what is funny and disrespectful. Someone said something about my hair at the Oscars that left me in awe. Not because I was relishing in rave outfit reviews, but because I was hit with ignorant slurs and pure disrespect.”
Osbourne went to Twitter defending the former Disney star and “friend” in a number of angry tweets saying she does not condone Rancic the weed comments.
Rancic has since made an on-camera apology to Coleman for her comments but insists that they were not racist.
