Jadan Hamilton is a Toronto-based writer and content curator. Growing up and living in Toronto, Jadan was able to interact with numerous different communities within the city. It was within these interactions that he was able to form his own identity and interest in providing a scope to the masses of stories they would otherwise miss. Quickly becoming interested in working towards a better Toronto for all, Jadan adapted an understanding of municipal politics and sharing the BIPOC, LGBTQ+ experience within an urban setting. Creating stories and initiatives that paint minorities in a respectful and positive light is one of Jadan’s primary goals for entering the journalism field. He intends to do so all while having fun and transferring good energy with the people he meets along the way. With additional special passions for music, fashion and lifestyle, Jadan has been able to create content that reflects his personality and interests while remaining journalistic and current.

Jadan primarily chooses to remain on the digital side of the journalism spectrum, with ambitions to continue media curation and social media management for companies such as ExploreTO and Bike Share Toronto.

A friendly figure to all, he is always willing to speak and have a conversation either about his thesis project or if you just want to speak about your day to someone. You can find Jadan at @whosjayden on Twitter, where he posts anything from municipal and provincial issues to memes, rants, and his new music discovery. Similarly, he occasionally posts on Instagram @loljayden where he tries to build a community of like-minded Torontonians with a vision for sharing their experiences and prospects for a better tomorrow.
