Paul Fredrick Schubert was born on May 4, 1997, in Richmond Hill, Ont. Growing up in Brampton, Paul always knew he wanted a career in mass media. In his final year of high school, Paul was the on-air announcer for DYTV – the school’s TV broadcasting platform. He also discovered his talent for reading aloud and was given this inspiration by his Grade 12 English teacher. Both of these things inspired Paul to study journalism at Humber College in Toronto. In his second year at Humber North in the Journalism Advanced Diploma program, Paul discovered his love and passion for radio announcing – something he excelled at. He also continued to develop his talents through a podcast and as a voice actor. Both of these talents followed him around through the Journalism Degree program at Humber Lakeshore, eventually coming together to form the basis of his thesis, The use and impact of voice, in his final year of Humber College education.
