Nick is a journalist focusing on sports and harness racing. He enrolled in the Bachelor of Journalism program to pursue his passion for writing but has since grown to respect and enjoy journalism as a discipline. He has many interests but aims to pursue sports reporting in the future. Nick completed his internship at the online harness racing publication Harnesslink, which is where the published his thesis, Where did everybody go? After hearing tales of the glory days of harness racing, he wanted to investigate why a sport that was once a cultural staple in the United States in Canada slowly became an afterthought to the general population. He spoke with people representing different roles in the industry and used historical data to construct a comprehensive piece on the subject.
