“It makes you feel more empowered to do something”: Influencer Liza Koshy visits Humber

Liza Koshy, a social media influencer and actor, visited Humber North campus for Ignite’s “Real Talk” speak series on November 20.

Ignite’s student advocate Jessica Carrera says Koshy is an important individual to look up to for the younger generation, as a woman of colour who established a career from social media.

Julia Van Der Wee, a first year student was very excited for the event and has followed Koshy’s work through her career.
