Scientists test psychedelics for anxiety treatment

Laura Willison has to deal with her anxiety every day. She says she gets worried about everything constantly, and thinks anything bad that can happen will happen. She goes to Ontario Shores, a center for mental heath sciences, and sees a personal service worker every two weeks. For a while, she depended on counseling to help her cope with her anxiety, but a couple of months back she saw a psychiatrist who wrote her a prescription for Lorazepam.

New app for Android and Iphone reminds users when to get vaccinated

Just in time to track the recent Measles outbreak, a free app called ImmunizeCA was released for iOS and Android phones.

The app tracks cases of outbreak and will notify you if there are cases nearby. It also has the ability to keep track of vaccination records and will tell you if you need to get vaccinated soon, or are overdue.

Project tracks vulnerable Toronto bats
